RON CARROLL (Resume)

was born in San Antonio Texas and was raised in the Southern Suburbs of Chicago, and received his formal education from the University of St. Francis and Loyola University Chicago in Psychology with minors in Art and English.

SPORTS Ron Carroll started playing Hockey and Baseball at the age of 8, and over the years fell in love with Football, Track, Tennis, Golf, Basketball and Volleyball, and played most of the sports for fun as well as competitively for over 40 years. He also passed the PGA Pat Test in 2005, and became a certified Recreational Tennis instructor in 2010. Ron started teaching Golf in 2006 and Tennis in 2008 and started the very first Get Golf Ready Program after reading a report from Golf2020 produced by the National Golf Foundation, and to date, has trained over 3000 Golfers and Tennis Players, and counting.

BUSINESS Ron started his first business in 8th grade, hiring up to 6 kids around the neighborhood to cut grass, grocery shop, shovel snow, etc. around his neighborhood and to date has started over a dozen businesses and two non-profit organizations. As a networking engineer and IT consultation, website, app and graphic designer, marketing expert and project manager for thousands of small and large businesses, and has either worked for, or consulted such companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Creative Labs, Comdisco, Federal Reserve Bank Chicago, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Seaway National Bank, Northwestern University, Dunkin Donuts, The University of Chicago and many others. Over the course of 15 years, he has acquired over 20 technical, sales and managerial certifications, such as Novell CNE, Microsoft MCSE, Cisco, Appletalk and many others.

DIY HOME MANAGEMENT Ron started working in the construction industry in High School and when home from College during Summer Vacations, and did everything from concrete, roofing, flooring and plumbing work for his friend's father's companies for make money on the side. After college, Ron helped several friends with home maintenance, repairs and renovations and is currently a real estate manager, investor and rehab consultation. His current project is a total gut rehab that in Pilsen and he is also consulting many investors, property managers and first time home buyers with maintenance, repairs, upgrades and renovations.
